Unidentified Parasite???

I saw this little white thing sitting on one of my trochuses and wasn't worried about it, just thought it was a cool little piece of microfauna, but later I saw it on my waspfish's gills, which worries me a lot, especially since it's my favorite fish. I can't find any info on it and I'd really like to know what it is and whether or not it'll be a problem.

If you see something on the fishes gills I would suspect flukes. Parasitic isopods are another possibility but I'm not seeing that from the picture provided
