unintended consequences...

I'm raising rotifers for my clarkii fry and I've been feeding my extra rotifers to my 20L and everything in there is going nuts. especially the shroom, zoa and GSP. The sps likes it too but the GSP just goes insane, it's starting to overrun my cluster dusters and macroalgae.

I noticed the same thing in my old tank by simply feeding more (had anthias). My question is, are these animals (shrooms, zoa's, GSP) actually EATING the rontifers, or simply benefiting from the extra nutrients in the system (ie absorbing compounds from the water)? Just curious...

I don't know for sure but the GSP, acro and paly seem to be clearly showing a feeding response, closing up appearing to capture food etc.
