Unique Alpheus randalli?

Have'nt seen these before. High-white version?

I'm pretty sure it's another species but it is a shrimp-associate. Have you tried pairing it up yet?
 
I would normally never challenge the all knowing leslie but I just looked in my Marine Fauna of the World book and the pic of A. randalli looks just like your pic. Maybe it is just from a different area?

You have the new Debelius? Cool - I wish I could afford it. If Art Anker was one of the experts that verified the photos in the book then you're right. If he didn't then I may be right as he's the one who told me there are several species with similar color patterns mis-identified as randalli.
 
Well all I can say is that when I look at the pic of A. randalli in the book, it looks exactly the same but slightly less white.

I highly recommend this book if you ever have the chance to get it. I can just sit there and look through it over and over.
 
Hi again --

I checked with a couple of shrimp experts. They say it's not randalli although they couldn't put a name on it.
