These I just got. They are more neon in person. Everyone that saw them yesterday agreed the skirt appears to be made of the Glow Snot from the gumball machines at grocery stores.

asnatlas, I am waiting for the dust to settle after turning the pumps off and cleaning the glass. Everyone is out and open and I am gonna take shots of all the newcomers in the next hour. That one is the brightest but not the best. :)

Here is the prior posted one with the MH on too . The skirt glows more though.

Those are awesome!
Do yourself a favor, remove the (Montipora?) colony growing in the center of the colony.;)
Wire cutters or a chisle will do the trick.

ecotoxlady, I just got some of those too! Too far back in my aquascape to get a pic though. Are yours finicky about opening? Mine took twice as long as most and stay closed for hours after a crab or my urchin bumps them. Yet they open up to extreme flow.

Jamie, they're beautiful aren't they? I've found that they're very picky about light and prefer to be in shaded areas of my tank which is sad seeing as they're so beautiful but that's the best way I've found to keep them open. From what I've heard, they are a deep water carribean zoanthid so that is why they prefer the lower light. Try that and see if that helps!

I took this just now. I finally found a place for them. Up high directly in the path of 3 nozzles from my Dart return!

These seem happy. This is one hour after eating oyster eggs.
I had to stand back, zoom in, and flash it to get a shot but it was still blurry. I used SmartSharpen in PS to trey to crisp it up a bit. It funked up the contrast but the spread they have is showing. Have a baby too off to the right side. Keep zoain'

FYI Karen, I just put a curse on you.
If you don't give me some of those when we trade next month, you will get cooties!:hmm4:

Don't worry, it has a time stamp on it, so choose wisely... muhuhahahahaha :wildone:
