unit to start / stop cooling fans.

I am looking for a unit or diy idea.

I have a T5 hanging unit over the tank that has no fans. I have a fan set up to blow air around to reduce the water temperature. I really would prefer that these fans aren't on all day but just when the temp in the tank hits about 81.

Does anyone know of a unit or product that will help me accomplish this?

you should be able to pick up some appropriate thermistors at the local electronics supply house (or order from digikey). Should cost about $5.

Not sure I found what I am looking for? Is there a plan? I find probes and resistors and stuff. i don't find anything that says buy these 5 components or this kit and here's how to assemble it.

I might need a little more explaination / plan.
