Browsing through some old pictures of frags I've gotten and came across some neat ones. It's easy to forget how small some frags start off as. I happened upon this unknown blue acropora back in March of this year (2013). This is not an ID thread (though I wouldn't be sad if someone DID ID it). The first pic is when I mounted it high on the rocks at the top after it acclimated for a few weeks on the sandbed. While on the sandbed it didnt grow any taller, but did start to encrust over the glue. First pic is when it was about 3/4" tall, taken March 29th 2013.
Second pic was taken today 12/9/2013. So that's just a little more than 8 months growth. I've fragged it about 5 times as well, cutting 1" at a time from various spots. It's now much larger and has about 20 branches enjoy.
