Unknown Snail

Hi All,

So, when I bought few snail from petco, I notice one of their shell has a bump. I try to peel it off, but didn't work. So I left it on, and 2 month later. That snail was upside down on my rock arch, and the bump thing fall off. I was like *** is that, and it look like another snail attach itself for 2 whole month. Closer look, it doesn't look like a snail at all. It's shell is just a bump. Can anyone ID this guy?? I have him in my Red Sea test container atm

Yeah, it's a Crepidula, or "Slipper Limpet." They often attach to other snails, but don't really hurt much other than they tend to scar the shells, and they aren't all that attractive.
