unpatch glass

i have a tank that was drilled then a piece of glass siliconed over them so now i want to unglue it but i cant seperate them, any ideas thanks

i used piano wire to cut the piece of acrylic out of my tank,the previous owner had one end blacked out.maybe rubbing alcohol?

Acetone to dissolve the silicone and a sticker scraper like you use to remove the registration sticker from your windsheild

Denatured alcohol will work better than acetone on most silicones. The sticker scraper, piano wire, and razor blade are excellent ideas.

strong steel blade and some alcohol to rubb out the glue

i have tried all the above and no luck when they pressed it on they pushed it glass to glass i even tried dental floss im afraid of a chemical root because its next to the corner i guess ill build a over flow over it and redrill its for a growout tank and not a dt thanx to you all
