Unsticking an Anemone

Our Anemone has a wee accident a while back so we had it in a hospital tank and now it is time to move it back to the main tank - what is the best way to get it to detach from the glass with out causing damage?

While wearing gloves ..push it slowly off the glass with your finger tips. That is what I did to get my LTA to let go of the bottom of the tank it was in.

you could also direct a maxijet 900 at its foot but ive only used that to remove it from a rock

Thanks, we used the powerhead aimed at the foot and it let go realtively easily.

at work I use a credit card to gently "scrape" them off the glass. works well w/o any tears to their foot

I also agree with the credit card method, very easy and precise, ive never had any tears using them, getting them off rocks though is another story :O
