Untimely Death

Well, unfortunatley, Chucky will never get to see his 40 gal home. I arrived home today to find him dead in his burrow. I have no idea what could have caused his untimely death, maybe something went wrong with his molt. I am truly saddend by this since i was getting attached to him. Well, im going to trudge forward and continue on with the 40 Tru-Vu project, in hopes of making it a home to another mantis, he would have wanted it that way. So for now, i say my farewells to this forum, but i will be back.

Hey there...

Several stores here in th Bay get mantis shrimp.

6th avenue (here in SF) gets them, as do a few stores in your area.


I am about to get my 7th mantis...from a LR shipment that a friend's friend bought.
