Like you, I have a small yellow tang and a one pot fox face that hang together all the time.

Unusual fish buddies

I have a yasha goby that lives in the pearly jaw fish pair burrows ( or rather tunnel system)

I have a maroon clown and a snowflake that are best friends. The clown hangs out in his cave all the time, meanwhile nothing else in the tank can even get close to it without the snowflake flipping out.

years ago I had a flame hawk and a percular clown who used to hang out all day they would take turns at lying on each other it was quite comical to watch,.....

My kole tang, one-spot foxface and blue chromis are always together. The chromis even eats nori from a clip with the other two.

I have a Foxface Rabbit fish & Moorish Idol, that are inseparable, they even sleep in the same corner of the aquarium,in a deep burrow sheltered by LR. This has been going on for 5 months, ever since I introduced the rabbitfish. They chow down together during meals passing pieces of Nori back and forth. Both like the same varieties of frozen foods and are the first to gorge themselves before any other inhabitants know that there was even a feeding.
The two have some simular markings, the way some of the striping on the face of the rabbit fish is almost identical to the stripes of the MI.Anyway they appear bonded. They are both followed around by my Copperband ,but,it definitely isn't a part of their clique.

I had a starry blenny and a golden dwarf moray that were best friends. I got rid of the eel a year ago, the starry hasn't been the same since. The starry would display mating colors and shared the same hole as the eel. Definitely a weird combo. My chromis is also part of my clown pair. They are all together all the time.

My female bellus angel (don't have a male) and my Magnificent Foxface are best friends. They eat nori together and usually hang out. When they're on the right side of my tank my large female maroon swims over to hangout but they just ignore her. Interestingly enough my female maroon only started venturing away from her nem after I paired her with a tiny gold nugget male - who guards the nem at all times while the female swims the aquarium.

And here is another One spot Foxface Lo ... Him & my Blue tang were made for each other....swim the tank together...graze live rock together. In my 180 gallon, the center island is where both slept. The island has a cave in the bottom where the foxface took shelter & right above the cave, between 2 shelf rocks slept the Blue tang...
