unusual spot?

Hello all. I had seahorses but my tank was too small for them. 20Xhigh with sump. So I decided to keep some other fish that didn't have such a large bioload.
My choice is a Royal Gramma, a Yellow Clown Goby and a Clownfish.

Today I couldn't pass up this clownfish. The spot in the middle of the white was really cool. I watched it for a while and the person had trouble catching it... swam really well, looked healthy. Acclimated and ate fine BUT... I noticed a spot on the other side in the same place as the other side. I put on my glasses and wondered if it was an injury of some kind instead of natural spot.

Sorry, these were the best pictures I could get. Really moves around alot.

What do you think? Natural or injury? Should I return it and get a different one?
Also, it had stringy poo. Another problem or fine?
Thanks in advance

looks lke a natural spot.
If it chages or gets larger over a day or two then it is not a natual spot and return it while you can.

Cheers

yes natural spot, that is a nice clown!
stringy poo? dont think thats a good sign, hopefully someone else will chime in but, but maybe internal parasite or worms?

Looks like natural coloration of the clownfish!Dont freak about it its common for younger clownfish to change color!

I think that's a fine clown with no issues from those pics. Stringy poo.....where? As that clown develops, those spots will likely fill in. From the pic it looks like a natural attribute, but if it is black it may be from whatever coral hosted it. My clowns have all had their times of dark, blackish-brown spots from the rics or zoas thay have taken up residence in.

Thanks all... makes me feel better.
I saw the stringy poo two times yesterday but not constant.
I will keep an eye on it to see if it was just stress before treating for parasites.
