Bought these some time ago as I think for zoas the colour is unusual. They seem to be doing ok and spreading. They look white with a greyish skirt under a blue/white light mix but a very pale blue under all blues.
Anyone seen anything like these before?
Cool. All my zoas are a dime a dozen.Perhaps they're not so common in the UK as most of what I see is shades of red/pink so they make a nice change and contrast in colour.
I don't see many if any in that coloration around here, so it may be a regional thing. I like em, they look like they change a bit depending on the lighting. They look healthy either way so enjoy.
BTW whats the little green/pink guy in the bottom left of the pic? a shroom or tiny maxi mini?
It's a very small growing type of mini-nem that only reaches a maximum of about one inch across but usually smaller. They multiply by dividing into two every few months, are rainbow coloured and glow crazy colours under blues.
They look like this under white light. They also mix fine with zoas and grow in the zoa colonies with no signs of stinging them.
it looks like a tiny version of my maxi mini carpet nem, different colors but the formation is almost exactly the same, I have never seen them that small around here though, would love to find some someday.
