New in this version:
- support for ProfiLux Temperature Control (PTC)
- controller activities can be shut down during feed pause (e.g. shut off heater or PTC)
- alarm can be deactivated during auto. water change
- support of Aqua Illumination
- temperature reading can be adjusted

I keep on getting an error message:

depends what you were loading

only load if you are running already V4.01 firmware and software

If you have this loaded, then do the firmware version upload first.

make sure you follow the correct upload proceddure exactly

one more question: before i updated i saved my setting from profilux to pc now when i log into version 4.02 do i have to reload from pc to profilux my setting? I tried to and I get this message: Firmware of file and device are different transmit anyway? yes or no?

Got everything going great thanks.

Love the storm feature with my AI Lighting unit. IS there any chance of storms becoming a random feature at some stage? Would be much better to be able to set the number of storms or probability of storms etc so they would just happen randomly over the course of the month.

Also random rainy days would be better than it raining every Tuesday for example.

I tried to upload the new firmware and I get "Download in progress..." on the screen of my unit, but its been that way for about 10 minutes now... Did I screw something up ???

Welcome to the club. Ensure that you select <Yes> on the Profilux unit before you begin the transfer. You will probably have to restart the software.

If you have trouble connecting after this, you may be lucky like me and just have to power off the Profilux for a few seconds. When you restart, you should be able to connect via the software.

Just did the jumper thing and it uploaded the 4.02... w00t !!!

Thank you Mathias for adding full time to the nocturnal settings... I can now turn down my pumps during the day when its actually "night" for my tank.... :thumbsup:
