Thanks for all your guys help! I just pickup a new overflow box with lifter pump to start up durring power failures.

I want to get refugium/sump is there any sacto stores that have a good selection? or is this a custom order?

There are some standard sumps, but I do not see them too often at the stores. I imagine because of the space they take up. That being said, I do know that if you find one by a common manufacturer (like TruVu, etc.), a LFS can order that for you.

You can also go completely custom and have a fabricator make one for you.

Catalina aquariums in sacramento will make one to fit your needs. I think they will usually have it ready within 2 days. You can custom design it any way you want.

there are plenty of pre made sumps but usually people just get a standard tank and add baffles. do a search for melevs reef or something like that and there are tons of sump/refugium design ideas. I need to come over and take a look at that tank and we will see how much space you have under there. Did you get a skimmer with the tank or are you going to be looking at getting one later?

It's inside the old army depot, entrance is on the fruitrige side closer to power inn. I've done some cash buys from him that really worked out. Just watch for some of the knock off brands. They do build tanks and sumps, I even saw starfire glass also.

Yeah, I do plan on getting a protein skimmer and possible a phosphate reactor. I also need to get a cf light for the refugium.

The inside dimensions of my stand are 47" x 17" so I like to get a 40gal sump refuguim

My current nano I am having a green hair algae problem so I want to have enough room in the sump to grow the algae down there in the refugium and not in the tank.
