UPDATE Hammer Coral Stung!!!

Here is an update on the damage
This is the hammer
The 2 damaged polyps are in the upper leftish

The damage is on the left lobe, lower left

This is the big picture as it sits now.
The offending shroom on the left
I have more in the tank else where but am going to trade them off
I have too many
Any hope for the damaged areas?

I'd be pretty surprised if the mushroom caused that kind of damage. Can you tell us more about how long you've had these corals, your water conditions, and tank hardware?

Mushrooms have a very powerful sting, and almost always win in coral warfare. Move other corals away from the 'shrooms, or remove the 'shrooms entirely. The latter is assuredly the better option.

If you run fresh carbon actively in a Phosban Reactor, that may help as well. As long as the coral isn't being stung any longer, it may recover.
