Update Large Tank

Well its been awhile and I can't seem to locate my original thread. I finally got all the sand in the tank. Just ordered a heaping amount of flat cut rock from Billy's Reef Connection. I am planning on scaping my entire back panel with flat rock and then using several large pieces and creating a few islands and caves for the eels/predators. 1300lbs of sand total, and I have about 1300-1500lbs of dry rock for the scaping.

Nice Gyres...I would love to know how the noise is from them, once you get them cranked up.
I have MP'60's in mine now.

I have MP'60's in mine now.

I only have the one in there now, trying to pick up a second on off of here in the near future to put on the opposite side. For those of you that do have them, do you think I should have it down lower, higher, or keep it where it is?

You can also click on your user name and go to statistics and select from all posts or just posts started by you. The same goes for any other user if you know the user name of the post you are looking for.

Awesome setup by the way. I will be tagging along for this one for sure!

They are very quiet. Much quieter than any of the vortechs I have heard. I also think one Gyre probably does the work of 2 MP 60's at half the cost of one.

Keep it where it is....about 6" from the surface it will agitate the surface and create a nice shimmer. rotate the nozzles up a bit so it agitates the most about 2 feet away from the Gyre.
