Wow, glad I found this thread, I am about to do a bulb replacement. I have a 250 W over my 30 Cube, and have heard great things about the Phoenix, but nice to see it in a thread like this.

i am about to start a 20L sps and was debating BB over sand and after seeing your tanks before and after i think i like the small layer of sand as far as looks. i wanted to have alot of flow in my tank though and was worried about the sand blowing everywhere. do you have any advise to offer a new start up sps tank? anything you did or didnt do on yours you wish you could change?

Yeah, I wish that one, I would have had it drilled just for the sake of looks; two, I would have started off with live sand; three, I would have started off with good, full of life live rock; and four that I would taken it abit slower, giving the tank about 6 months to settle and get everything fine-tuned before adding a single coral.
