update on copper removal

So I dosed my tank with cupramine and I am using cuprisorb to take it out. I only raised copper to .25 not the .50 like directions say. Three days later after using cuprisorb some snails which I thought I got out came up from the sand bed as well as some hermits. I also had some green mushrooms that I left in the tank opening up again. Current test now it's been a little over 1 week show no copper. I also did a 30% water change before I started with the removal of copper. I know I have read so many threads saying you cannot have any coral in tank once treated with copper and that may be true with some of the other treatments however cupramine was made to not stick to rock and sand bed and to be removed with cuprisorb. I'm still going to wait until I try to put any inverts. Going to change out filters slowly then give it a go

Wow you are a brave soldier on that, but hope it goes well.
I have heard and seen horror stories with copper meds, usually any equipment expose to copper has been marked as a med tank only after medicating as they are not safe for invert housing after that point.

keep us posted on your tank
