update on my QT fish

Mario, Are you using water that has Chlorine in it without using a Declorinator like Prime or Amquell or whatever???? Please tell me you are not doing this without treating that water for the Chlorine, If your RODI is not removing it.

i am treating it Bill plus i let my water sit out which also gets rid of the chlorine in it and 3 fish that size is pushing the stocking limit but i wasnt planing on keeping them in there so long as its been....thats why i want to move them as fast as i can into the display.....also i didnt know prime takes out or helps take out ammonia....i'll get some on tuesday as for now i picked up a product that supposidly takes ammonia out of fresh and saltwater so i will try some of that in some water that i'll make up and test it.....hopefully my ammonia test kit will show me signs of it working

That's Good, For a minute i thought, Anyway as Mel said you may want to take his advice as he is pretty good at getting fish healthy again. Good Luck either way.

UPDATE: the stuff i bought works....its the tablets that walmart sells and yes they are for fresh and saltwater, took 3 of them to lower it to what reads 0ppm, i might put in 4 just to make sure lol so now i'll give it time to sit and i will do a good size water change to the QT and lower its ammonia
