Hey guys,
It has been a while Since I have posted on here. But I still cruise the forum. I went away to school and have moved so I hadn't had a tank up in a while, but since I now own my own home so I figured I should start the plunge again. Started with a 40 Breeder on my counter top with hardly any filtration.
Which soon bloomed into another full reef setup.
I built the tank myself, via Hardwood plywood, and 3 sides glass.
I wanted this tank to be quiet and calming, so I went with 2 drain pipes and one return split off to two educators.
One drain at a siphon and another for overflow or emergency draining. These are plumbed into the basement where they they go into 4 tanks.
One is a refugium, one will be a deep sandbed, a tidepool for mechanical and chemical filtration, and then the pump/heater tank.
It is still in the works, It has only been up for 2-3 weeks, so I still have some hours to put into it, but thats what Ive been up to!
