NEW... I like the new one better coz I was able to free up a little more real estate on the sand bed.. I'm sorry for the littered frags on the sand bed right now.. just moved some from my holding tank and letting them acclimate to the MH... will be cleaned up in a week or so... I also added some more flow.. a seio 620 and tunze 6025 nanostreams are very visible.. ;) will be replacing the seio 620 with another nanostream after the holidays.. also, got rid of some fishes as well... I only have a pair of Golden Rhomboid fairy wrasses and a male Hooded fairy wrasse now....

Very cool Marv!:D
I like the tunnle in the center.
I did something similar, I'll have to take some pics.

Thanks Bill.. I'd love to see pics of your tank.. :)

sweet tank Bill.. gotta love the look of palys and zoas that don't have long stolons... I also like that they have longer tentacles.. I hope to be able to achieve that when I upgrade my 250w SE to a DE set up..

Thanks again for sharing pics of your tank..

Thanks Marv.
The tank has come a long way from the crash. The colonies are small, but are growing. There is a lot of light in my tank and most corals take a while to get used to it. It'll rock again, soon.

I'm actually downsizing my lights to 250 from 400 watts. It's too much with the Luminarc. I'll be adding a 250 w/an electronic ballast.

PS I just wanted to mention that Sanjay Joshi found that SE bulbs keep their spectrum and last longer than DE bulbs. I think they also keep higher par longer then DE bulbs.

hmmmm... I wonder what's going on with my zoas and palys then.. some of them develop the long stolon syndrome and some of them are just fine....

I'm running a 15k XM in there and have heard that the 20k XM's have better par than 15k's... btw, I'm running a PFO magnetic ballast..

Looking good, if you dont mind me asking. Where is your Balteatus
