Nice corals.

One thing... the one you call an 'ORA Chips' doesn't look anything like any of the Chip's Acro's I've seen... most of them (if not all) have huge polyp extension, so much that they look hairy, and they have a different corallite structure.

It's a beauty, nonetheless. :)

The color is right. My avatar is my ORA Chips with the polyps only half way out. Otherwise, it is super hairy. :)

That ORA chips was bought in Vero Beach from a shop that drove down the street to pick up frags from ORA. It is in a heavy one-direction flow that it doesn't really like. Too encrusted to move it now. If you check my www go to coral growth - that is month by month growth from when I bought it.

All the corals look great. I agree that that Chips is definitely a Chips. All the Chips I have brought in recently from ORA have looked like that, but my original Chips, which I lost a while back had a different look and growth form. I have always been curious about it.

Here's a pic:

That looks more like a tenuis...

My all time favorite ORA was a glowing yellow acro. It RTNd after a few weeks and I never saw one again...

I agree it looks more like a tenuis type Acro. Not sure if it was an ORA mistake but it was sent to me as a Chip's Acro.

Never saw the glowing yellow Acro.. got any pics
