Updated tank pics

Hey Western Reefer Im in the So Cal Area. Here are a few more pics that I snapped today. I was fortunate enough to recieve most of these frags from a buddy. Problem is they werent doing well in his tank and most browned out. Ive been trying to nurse these corals back to health and they seem to be responding well. Over the last month I have been dosing Elos Omega and Elos Pro Skimmer daily. Also adding Roti Feast once a night when skimmer shuts off. I have been slowly ramping up the dosing and have hit 24 drops of pro skimmer and 50 drops Amino a day! The corals seem to appreciate the extra feeding since I run a relatively light bio load. I also have a 3000xp cone skimmer and giant fuge full of cheato.

Wow those controllable ballasts are way cool. I found a little info on them not much. Where did you get them? How much did they coat? I could only fing them on a european site and they cost about $1000 for a 250 watt.

Hi AllSPS40. I got the lighting system from Tim at AquaticsElite. He is in the sponsor forum. I can say the whole experience was a pleasant one. Tim is a great guy and will take the time to answer all your questions and make sure you get the right set up for your system. There is more information about the light and ballast listed on his website aquaticselite.com

The Xr6 can be hooked up to any standard ballast as well. These dimmable ballast are quite expensive. I was able to buy one new and one used or I might not have got them. After using them for a few months I couldnt be happier! The sunrise and sunset are amazing.
