Updated tank pics

I took a couple of new pics the other night that I thought I would share. The tank has seen some hard times as of late. It started with the loss of my midas blenny, Frank, that was with me for about three years. Over the course of a couple of weeks he stoped eating and became very inactive, I think he was pretty old since he was full size when I got him. The last night he was on the sandbed which was very unusual so I hand fed him. A couple hours latter the was a huge sand storm in the tank, and Frank was nowhere to be found. H must have buried himself. I was kind of upset about loseing the fish and ignored the tank for a couple of days...in which time I didn't do a couple of top offs when I finally looked at the tank I noticed some tissue loss on my favorate Fatsuki Bali blue stag....I had let my salinity get up to about 1.031 and this was right at the start of the heat wave and the tank got up to about 84. Needless to say the tank was now suffering some big problems....tons of nutrients from the dead fish burried somewhere in the sandbed, and shock from almost all my SPS....
After many many hours of trying to get everything in line and doing lots and lots of water changes with many more to come the tide is turning...so here are the pics.

Here is the tissue loss that I had from the bottom of the bali stag..about 1", but it seems to have stoped and started to regrow.

And a couple mm of tissue loss on my bonsi, this one for sure has started to regrow.

Justin, this is about the best pic I can get of that alien eye chalie from Mr. Ugly, but you can see it's got all it's color back. Befor I put it back in that corner all the brown areas had gone almost all white.

Right on David, thanks for sharing. Ya the alien eye looks great, mine went totally white in the light. Man, you got some stix :) That faviid just trips me out. If you saw mine today, youd swear it had no relation. Very dark green with maybe just a kiss of orange along its ridge. Love how yours lights up under actinic.

David -

Gorgeous tank! But I think it's time for you to upgrade to a larger (240G?) tank. :D

I hope to some time soon (when I get a house), but I think if I put anything larger in my apartment I would be saying hello to my downstairs neghbor though the new hole in the floor..

Favites micropentagona;)

My frag is starting to grow now and is getting the orange color back!

Sweet pics BTW!

Nice corals! I think adding a background and removing that egg crate would go a long ways in your tank. I really like your clam!

Yeah, I've been wanting to add a black background for a while, tanks look so much cleaner with one. It's just a pain since the tank is in place, and not much room to move behind it. I just need to take of the HOB fuge and I should be able to do it. I just need the parts to build the skimmer in it first.

I got a Nitrate/Nitrite test kit from the meeting last night, and tested my water when I got home (I'v been out of this test kit for a while)....I was thinking they might be high due to the fish dieing a couple weeks ago...both tested 0...I thought the test kit might be wrong so I ran their reference standard (I like that seachem including this) and it tested fine....so it looks like the water is back in good condition, exept that think phosphates are high due to a bloom in buble alge.
