upgrade from 55G to 120G

So I am wanting to upgrade my 55G to a 120G tank.... I feel like I have already outgrown my 55G. The question I have is about the weight of the tank. I live in a newer home that is a one story house. Will a 120G tank be too heavy for the flooring, or should I be ok? Right now my 55G with a 30G sump has been fine. But I am not sure if a 120 w a 55G sump and maybe even a 30G Refugium might be too much weight.

If you're unsure, you can brace the floor underneath. Otherwise, make sure the tank is placed perpendicular to the floor joists, near a support wall.

Here's my support under my 180. It may be overkill, but better safe than sorry. Each pole is rated for 9000 lbs. Cost like $35 a piece at Home Depot. 6x6's are pressure treated.

no basement, no problem then. all should be fine.

He might have a crawl space... if you do you could still consider bracing below the tank.

i ripped my floor boards up and put in loads of 2x4 noggings, then rescrewed the floor boards back down that was 5 years ago now and never had a problem, just another idea
