Upgrade pump for 8 Gallon?

Hello I have had an 8 Gal. Biocube for about a year and half. The pump is getting weaker despite my cleaning it with vinegar, etc. Any suggestions for a pump upgrade? Is 200 gal. per hour too much for an 8 gal.biocube?

Mini jet 606 or Maxi Jet 600 works nicely in 8G Biocube.

I think the 200 gph pump will run your sump area dry unless you alter the flow to allow more water to enter the rear compartments

yeah i got the 606 for my BC 8 and the flow was too much until i cut the tab b/t chambers 1 and 2 down. It creates plenty of flow for me
