Upgrade questions

Upgrading from a 75 gallon to 110 gallon display. I'm going to reuse my sump (20 gallon), return pump (mag 5) and skimmer (to start with).

I have approx 100 lbs of live rock but will change the sand.

I plan on adding 40-50 gallons of USED water from my old setup along with my rock and inhabitants. Do I need to cycle the new water I have in the tank or can I add the rest once my new water is mixed? This would be like a big water change (approx 50-60%).

Any help would be appreciated.

Should I cycle the tank for 30 days?

No cycle should occur. Tank switches are easy as the rock and sand do not need to survive a long shipment period.

Is the Mag 5 a big enough pump?
