Upgrade radion

Does anyone know how the process works to upgrade from a gen1 to a pro. I want to upgrade my light but it's the only light I have I cant have the tank dark for days.

Thanks I have seen that. I don't know how people do it when your tank is going to be dark for an unknown amount of time.

Ecotech is nice enough to offer upgrades as opposed to buying a whole new light. They are great at customer service but they cannot send you a leoaner. What you use is up to you while you wait. I would check with local refers in your area. Maybe someone has something you can borrow.

I am in your same shoes actually just posted I am in need of a loaner light. I got lucky and have a fellow reefer lending me a light for a g little while. I hope you get someone to lend you something. I am excited to finally upgrade it.

Can you swap out the pucks on your own? Looks like they just plug in.

With G1 Radions the process is much more extensive then a cluster swap which is why we require all customers to send them in. If attempting to swap clusters on a G1 Radion to a newer generation you will cause your Radion to fail.
