Hey Folks,
Well, I upgraded from my 28G HQI to a 90G, so out with the old, in with the new! All proceeds go to funding my new I-Tech skimmer ;-)
$400 - Complete 28G Nano Cube HQI with Nano Customs Actinic upgrade, and Solana Stand. I made some mods to the stand - I added a fan to cool the HQI ballast, and drilled some holes to run the cords, power strips, etc. inside the stand. This made for a nice clean installation with only 1 electrical cord coming out the back. Tank is 100% complete, with owner's manuals. I'll even throw in some nano sized bottles of calcium, iodine, buffer, and strontium/molybdenum.
$75 - a little more than 40 lbs of mostly nano sized marco rock.
$50 - Sealife Systems sump - it looks to be a version of the Berlin Series 125? Dimensions are 28Lx12Wx16T. This came with the used system I bought, and it looks like there were some teeth drilled in one section of the sump. It looks like it was the container that was designed to hold bio balls. When I did a water test it didn't seem to have a bearing on the operation. I was running carbon in that middle section.
Here are some pictures:
