Upgrading led

Hi all,
I need a suggestion for upgrading my led fixture.
My aquarium is a cube of 50x50x70H in cm

Actually light is made by

24 CREE XP-G R2 COOL WHITE
12 CREE XP-E BLUE
12 CREE XR-E ROYAL BLUE

All led has carclo lenses.
I have only two dimming channels and I can't improve them at the moment.
I drive white from 0 to 1000ma and blue from 0 to 700ma. Usually 70%,90% to have a decent light colour.

I have a blue montipora digitata on the edge of the rocks that is BROWN, PO4=0, so I think that something is missing.
I am evaluating to change some royal blue with semiled to improve the spectrum ad color temp, but i don't know if having them on same blue line can cause problem. If you have other suggestions please feel free to tell me.

Thank you

regards

You could swap out the whites and royal blues for more efficient LEDs to get more light without having to change much else. You'd have to check the fV of the replacements to see if it changed the total fV beyond what your current set up can give, but you can get more light and less heat for the same input power :)

I wish to add 2-4 uv led, but as I see usually they are at 700ma, so I should use the blue line. Can this be a problem? Otherwise I found some uv leds on ledlck.com that are dual core so I can use them in White line. What do you think about this?

So long as you stay within the specs of your drivers and power supply (primarily total fV of the string) you can add as many LEDs as you like to the string, if it's below the max drive current. So adding UVs with a max rating of 700mA or over to a 700mA XPE string should be fine (so long as the the total fV stays within the specs of your system).
