Upgrading lights

I am thinking of upgrading to MH, My Tank is a Juwel Vision 450 20 inch deep from top to the top of my sand. I am thinking of getting a Arcadia series 3 pendant with 2 150Watt with 2 aticnic tubes, I am thinking of having it 10 inches above the surface so that will make it 30 inch deep, will this be enough light for my tank to keep sps?

It will be enough for some SPS, but possibly not all SPS. You will also get more use of your lights if you can place them closer to the water line.

I found Arcadia with 2 x 250 Watts and 2 x tubes for near enough the same price will this be better

I would recommend a 250W upgrade instead if you are interested in sps. Also I might use 20000k bulbs instead of the actinics if it is hung that high above the water line.
