Upgrading to 100g mixed

I've poured through a lot of posts of aquarists looking for suggestions of equipment manufacturers, or just plain help in starting a system.
I think I have done my homework, and spent a lot of time researching things, but definitely want some more eyes looking at my results. I have a list of equipment, and potential manufacturers, and just want to know if I've missed anything:
-Rock and sand (see nice cuts at Marco Rocks, does anyone know of a supplier that does both sides cut flat?)
-Lighting - looking at Kessil A360WE x3 (plus some supplemental)
-Powerheads for flow - Jebao WP25 dual package with controller
-Heater - Finnex 500W (also a back-up heater in the sump)
-Sump with Return Pump (EHEIM 1260), Reef Octopus XS200 skimmer, Reef Octopus MF800B reactor
-APEX controller system (either 6 outlet or 8)

Other than a stand (have one designed), and the plumbing/electrical, is there anything regarding tank operation that I have missed?
Yes I plan to put livestock in eventually...

Some things your list was missing:
-An ato system (the tunze is really reliable)
-A small light if you plan of having a refugium (some cheap chines led's would work fine and last a while )
-A chiller depending on where you live (you can find cheap ones on craigslist, or go to bulkreefsupply.com to buy one new)
-Battery backup can save your tank encase of a power outage
-Dosing pumps unless you plan dose kalk (ghl dosing pumps are the most reliable but are expensive, brs dosing pumps need some calibrating bu t work perfectly fine)

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head, you will probably find more equipment you will need as you progress in your build but you already got all the big equipment

-A small light if you plan of having a refugium (some cheap chines led's would work fine and last a while ) Going to use the lights off my 10g
-A chiller depending on where you live (you can find cheap ones on craigslist, or go to bulkreefsupply.com to buy one new) definitely don't need a chiller, summer temps usually around 20deg 'metric' in the basement here

As sourced (even looking on eBay) I've budgeted an initial expense about $4000, not including livestock.

some people recommend a spare return pump. I don't know how high-tech or complex you want your system to be, or how it will be plumbed, but some folks also have some float valves or solenoids.

I might be stating the obvious but I am assuming you will be making your 10g into your QT? If so, this will limit what you can QT at any one time. Also, get the ALD module with your Apex. Will save you from extensive damage from a potential flood. I would go with the EB8 rather than the 6. You will find that you will need more outlets than the 6.

I would get two 250 watt heaters instead of a single 500 watt. Even with a controller, it is best to split the wattage between two heaters.

Actually, I have 60g coming to me that I would turn into a sump. Was thinking of turning the 10g into a coral only tank.

I think two 150watt heater is more than enough for 100gallon.

2 Kessil 360WE is enough for your tank since you plan to supplement. Just raise it slightly higher. 2 Kessils cover 48" and 100gal is usually 60". I bought 2 A150w deep ocean blue to supplement. You can switch that 360 for two 150s

I use Reef XS200 too. great product. Look into reef octopus auto cleaner 200 if you want to minimize cleaning.

also.. now you are looking at weekly water changes of 10 gallons instead of 1 gallon. Consider a back up RODI reservoir and salt water WC reservoir

Hello 2014! How would you rate the Reef Octopus MF800B? Looking for a reactor to run a few liters of SeaChem Denitrate and it looks to me, like it is as good a choice in 2020 as it was in 2014. Any leakage-if you used it externally?
