Upgrading!

Well, I was in the process of gathering equipment to rebuild my 36 gallon bow front reef bigger and better. But, I've decided (and was given the go ahead lol) to get an upgrade going! I plan on a 93 gallon cube.

Equipment that I had stockpiled so far:

-Ecotech Radion XR30w-G3 LED fixture
-Tunze osmolator 3155
-Vortech MP10QD

Keep in mind, this was all geared toward a 36 gallon bow front with a large sump. I have questions that are mainly pertaining to the equipment for the 93.

I'm assuming that I should probably ditch the mp10 in favor of a couple of mp40s. I'm also wondering if I should go for 2 radions instead of the one despite the 30x30 coverage area that ecotech advertises.

Also looking at a synergy reef overflow, some sort of cube sump with a refugium.

I'm looking at any advice that I can get as far as equipment goes. Was planning on making the 36 gallon as automated as possible. Would like to do something similar with the 93 when I can finally set it up. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thank y'all!

What type (if any) of corals do you plan on keeping in the tank? Two MP-10's would most likely be fine, but they tend to be a little noisy when running above 80% so the MP-40's would run quieter if that is important to you.
For a fish only system a single Radion would be fine, but for light demanding corals like SPS or clams you would need two lights and even then with the footprint of your tank some areas would get a little less light.

First, congrats on the upgrade. I had a 93 cube with a radion g3 pro but put the wide angle lenses on. Worked great. You are right about the mp10. I ran mine with one mp40 and it rocked the tank. Maybe start with one and see how you like it. My rockwork was open and minimal so I belive that really helped with just one. Best of luck

I'm planning on a SPS dominant reef with some LPS and my bubble tip anemone and also moving my maxima over.

Sounds like I'll be going with the mp40s just for the sake of less noise!
