Upper bearing broke

Roger,

I took my 6101 out to clean it as it had stopped operating, and the upper bearing tore when I tried to pull it (slowly) off the end of the rotor. I put the pump back together with part of the upper bearing in the seat and the pump is working.

How do I get a new upper bearing?

When I put the pump back together and plugged it in, and connected it to my 7095 (that was running another 7095 the whole time), all the lights on the 7095 went off. The pumps appear to be running full blast continuously.

What could I have done to the 7095? I may have mixed up the ends of the cord from the stream to the 7095. Does that matter?

Thanks,

Jason

The bearing is part 3000.610, you can order it on the tunze website. It sounds like calcium cemented the parts together, when this happens it is best to slowly work around the rotor prying the bearing off only a little at a time.

I am not clear on the controller. You have 2 7095? The pumps were working on one but not the other? I would suspect a bad cable or loose connection, the cables can be plugged in either end to pump or controller.

Oops, my previous post was not clear. I have one 7095. It was running another 6101 the whole time. When I plugged in the 6101 that I had worked on, the 7095 basically shut off. The pumps are running full blast and there are no lights on the 7095. How can this be when two pumps are plugged into it?

I am not sure, I would suspect the cables connecting the pump to the controller first and if that is not it then it is likely a problem with the controller.
