I just upgraded from the Berlin Red Sea skimmer to an Urchin Pro in sump. So far so good.
I had to mount the pump externally due to space limitations and the mag 3 that came with it wouldn't pull enough water to start the skimmer. I upgraded to a mag 5 and all is well, so far.
I run ozone and with the berlin, the mag 5 was submerged in the sump and I ran my ozone air line to the inlet of the pump. Worked fine.
When I try to run the ozone air line to the tube that sucks the water out of the sump to the pump, it kills the suction. So much for that.
So those of you who own Urchin Pro's, how do you inject ozone ?
I have no room for an ozone reactor.
