I am going to make my rock structure using pond foam and coral rock bits like 'customcolor', 'Kannin', 'Tiggsy' etc, but I'm worried that if I add a sea urchin like a long black spined, it will not only scrape some of the sand away of which is covering the foam, but also ingest the hardened foam itself!
What should I do? I need something that can go after turf like algaes such as bryopsis since the type of setup I'm going to do may have it due to high nutrients, and I just can't seem to get rid of it in my current tank. I want to be able to have an urchin since it will eat a lot of large pieces of algae (filamentous is my main concern), but the only way I can do the stlye of rock setup is to involve foam in it.
