Im finding the same ones on mine. Didnt see them when I inspected the rock though for all I know they came with the sand. They took about a month to show up. First I saw 2, now Ive spotted 8 of these and 1 pin cushion. They appear to grow pretty quick and can lay their spines down flat. A few are almost the size of a small blueberry. Im pretty sure they are harmless though will plow through just about everything thats in their path.
