Urgent! 2 dead fish in 1 day in QT - Red coloration

So I have a dead bangaai cardinal and a talbot's damsel dead within less than a day in my QT. The QT is 20L and had filters from before and carbon etc when I set it up. The ammonia alert sticker is still yellow.

I have another small bangaai and a tiny yellow goby both still alive and looking good.

The 2 dead fish both had large amounts of red coloration all over the body. Is this ammonia poisoning? Today at midnight I noticed one of the Bangaii struggling to breathe and had some issues with the gills. the Damsel was swimming but also had something going on with the fins. It may be ich, but it was not flashing. So I put prazipro to treat the Cardinal thinking it maybe parasites. I also put some Amquel just to cure ammonia etc.

After 10+ hours 2 fish are dead with red coloration and the other 2 are ok. What could it be.

PS: I was also running carbon for 24+ hours before putting fish in, up until I put prazipro. I have done 25% water change since I wrote this post.

How long does it take the yellow to trun green on the ammonia sticker if it were present?

Septicemia

So bacterial infection as a primary cause in plain english? Or this was secondary effect to something else? The reason I am asking is because the red spots appeared much later. Specially on the damsel, I think I did not see those before it died. Also would prazi pro kill the parasites, leaving the red spots?

I am not an expert on vibrio as I rarely see it. It is an anaerobic, gram-negative bacteria which is an opportunistic pathogen, found in saltwater/marine or brackish environments. This organism causes wound infections, gastroenteritis, and is a common cause of "œhemorrhagic septicemia" where the microorganism enters the blood stream, resulting in septic shock, rapidly followed by death in many cases (about 50% of infections). A common symptom in marine fish and brackish fish is red patches or red streaked fins, especially in Yellow Tangs and Marine Angels.
Kanamycin is very effective.

I've had the ammonia alert badge turn light blue almost instantly with the addition of ammonia into a qt tank. Within seconds.

As an aside, bio spira that I added to a completely new qt, has cycled the ammonia into nitrate in under 3 days. If biological filtration is a concern, I would suggest adding bio spira

Ammonia was ok in API test. Nitrates were 20ppm but I think that should not matter. That was before I put a bag of purigen in the HOB filter.
