I don't know where to post this question as reef central is saltwater only forum but, I am not a member of any other forums and I know that a lot of saltwater hobbiest have had freshwater in the past. I was at an lfs that I don't frequent but go to occasionally they have a display with an 12 inch irradescent shark the display is 30 gallons. They have had this fish for the longest time and it looks miserable in its tank as they have not been able to sell it due to its size. I have a 2000 gallon pond unheated outdoors that in the summer stays around 65-75 degrees in the summer it houses goldfish bowl rescues and an australian rainbow fish which is tropical I did not put it in, my sister did not knowing it was tropical that has lived there for a year due to its speed and my inability to catch it, little troll is uncatchable. I am asking if until I can get a heated pond setup probably a year, I can keep him in my outdoor pond, I know that they are tropical fish and would not do this for the sake of having a irradescent shark; I want to know because he seems so miserable
