Urgent frogspawn help

So i've had this frogspawn in my tank for about a week it was full and lively. Over the course of the last few days it has receeded almost completely the left side slightly puffs but not like it did.

I now notice it has brown jelly on the area circled, i took a turkey baster and sucked most of it off and boy does it smell!
Can i cut this part off and hope for the best?
A dip seems like a good idea but i have no iodine. Help!

Can i use regular dikes? I don't have any bone cutters.

After cutting you have to dip it in iodine for about 15 minutes for the whole piece is not INFECTIONS

Where can i pick up some iodine? Any specific kind?

Which can be sold in pharmacies. The fewer additional ingredients bring better. In 250 ml of water in the aquarium adds 20 drops of iodine and leave it for 15 minutes after passing the piece to another container that only has salt water and leave another 15 minutes after that and you can enter the tank

So basically any kind of iodine? If so i'll head to walmart and get some.

I just picked up some providone iodine how much should i add to 1 cup.

Nevermind duh.. 250ml is just over a cup. So i did about 15-20 drops of povidone. I got the piece cut off well what i could anyways. Now it's in the dip so we'll see how it goes from here. Fingers crossed.

Honestly this happened to my frogspawn. Half of the head got destroyed but with time and careful extraction of the slime, half of the head survived and rebounded now being twice as late as it once was before. No iodine dip needed in my situation.

That's good to hear, i feel the iodine kinda helped perk it up some. It was pretty closed up before.

Just wanted to update, the frogspawn didn't make it. It's 90% melted away. What's a good way to dispose of the skeleton?

Hey now! No chit chat allowed! Haha kidding.. Although i did manage to pick up a healthy FS. It's doing absolutely amazing. The one i recieved was doomed from day 1 and was unhealthy to begin with.
