URGENT MEETING NEWS_CANCEL OR POSTPONE 28th Swap?

thanks for the donated cookies and food!

We still need some refreshments and ice. We have been consuming about 5-6 2 ltrs per meeting. Any donations would be appreciated. All left overs go back into the stash for the next get together.

Ron, please have Roger check my stash to see if I need to purchase paper items. We will need them gathered up and taken to the store.

"I recall Barry mentioning that he experienced some "missing items" during the meetings at his shop. Like, people may have been "lifting" things. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR BARRY'S PRIZED RARE BIRDS PETS TO APPEAR IN THEIR CAGE!

All Club members, please keep your eyes peeled for such behavior. Help protect Barry. He's very generous to let us do this! THANKS BARRY!

We should try to leave parking lot open so customers can get in and out. Any particular place we should park?

Good point try parking around the block, try not to block the house next door to the shop on 10th street. You can also park across the street. Leave the spot behind the shop (where Barry parks) open as well in case one of us has to leave during the meet. Should be no problem we used to get close to 100 people in there on the old meet/auction days.

Just to clarify this so there is no misinterpretation or trouble from anyone out there who may miss-understand these events.
This is a 100% non-auction event
we are having it in the shop this time because our usual place is unavailable. This is a CVRC function and not related to business in anyway, Barry invited us back because Sundays are usually slow enough to deal with the crowd simple as that. To the CVRC vets, we are simply going back to where we started for a brief visit.

LtPiper just so you know my new laptop has PP 2007 not the veiwer like my old laptop so I can set it to display slides on the projector and notes on the laptop screen.

Hey while I'm thinking about it does anybody have any of those little black shelled snails that reproduce in the tank they want to get rid of?

did those anemones do well for you Ron? Mine are really cute, they really spread, I'm glad I gave you what I did. I am bringing some bags of plants (whatever they are) free to anyone that wants them, but I would suggest only putting them in your fuge as they take over the tank. I may bring some other things, I will give them to Ron to do with what he wants for the club. I have got to make things more simple for me to take care of.

I am not bringing anything to this swap unless someone is interested.

ORA turquoise staghorn $25 per inch can frag up to 5 inches with branches.

Orange Bullseye Mushroom $25 per frag

I also have a huge Crocea Clam great blue turquoise colors that has to go soon. Over 5 inches $65 if you want it, must have halide.

NOTE: these are from my tank at home and I will not bring anything unless you request it here or by mail. I am not posting pics this late, they are from my personal tank so you know they are all worth the cost of admission :)

Is the meeting at 1:00 or 2:00? The poster said 1 then back on the first page of this thread Ron said see you guys about 1:30. Color me confused? I don't know if maybe the time changed since moving it to Barry's.
