please help !!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a 90 gallon will a mixture of brains, zoas , mushrooms , frogspawns, torches , hammer , a bubble , a plate , blastos , acros and a clam .... everything was perfect in my tank until i topped of water like i normaly do ,i use a RO unit and nothing seemed to be different thana usual the second i toped of water all the acros turned white and died and the brains began to slim and all the rest of the coral closed shut ,including the clam please help on what you might think happened and what can i do to get my coral to bounce back ????

What do you use to store your top off water? Sure you didnt use waste water? how much top off water did you use?

try testing the water that is coming out of your RO unit. Sounds like chlorine bleach to me.

If whatever came out of the RO unit was that noxious you should be able to taste and smell whatever it is.

The only things that I can think of the damage that quickly are Chlorine and Copper...
