Use and cupramine AND hyposalinity?

I made the newbie mistake of too short of a QT period, so am going to isolate all fish for ich tx from the DT for 8 weeks. I have read about cupramine OR hyposalinity, but not the two combined. Is it a justifiable tx, or too harsh to combine them?

Cupramine does such a great job that you really do not need both. You will hear from people who favor either cupramine or hypo. I am firmly in the cupramine camp since I have read stories of people who did hypo for 8 weeks only for the ich to return. I would do cupramine for 3-4 weeks not the 2 weeks that it says on the bottle. Also, make sure to get the Seachem Copper Test- it works best.

Also hypo is only good for ich. It does nothing for velvet and cupramine does.
