If its a good LFS they don't need extra chaeto.

how do you come up with that? chaeto has nothing to do with how "good" a store is

He's just being general with his response. A "good" store will have their own chaeto growing, and have the same issue of excess chaeto to try to get rid of. At least that's what I'm viewing his response as.

Yea, thanks for having my back. Good stores will have fuges and be using the same methods used in home aquariums. They shouldn't need your chaeto.

I bought some excess yesterday for $15 shipped. Not going to make you rich but I will buy a night out every month or so.
New guys like myself need some all the time to start their refugium.
