Use of a CA reactor and Kalk reactor

do both run at the same time or is the calcium reactor shut off at night and the kalk reactor comes on.

well a kalk reactor doesnt really run full time, most people set them up on float valve setups since the unit is fed via RO water and not salt water, and then they set it up as an auto top off, this way you are adding calcium enriched water into the tank rather than straight RO water, and many people use it because the high pH of kalk water helps balance out the low pH of the calcium reactor effluent.

calcium reactors run 24/7.

On my setup--24/7 on Kalk water make up, co2 on cal.rx, runs 9 hrs a day (daytime).
