Use with Tunze Streams

Can the Vortech be used to make a wave when used with other pump devices. I have Tunze Streams and would like to make a wave using the Vortech. Do the other pumps interfere with the wave forming function of the Vortech?

Tank size is 48x28x24. I am currently using 2 streams.

Yes and no. I still had a wave in my 180 with 2x Vortech (left/right panes) and 2x Tunze 6100 (left pane shooting to the front of the tank, right pane shooting to the back of the tank). That being said, the wave is roughly 25-50% bigger without the interference.

I measured the space between the walls on each side of my tank and I only have 2.5 inches clearance on each side. My question is can I mount two of them on the back pane and still create nice waves.

How thick is the aquarium's glass? You may have barely enough room to fit the pumps.

You will have room. On a 3/4" tank you don't use the pin spacer so you will have barely enough room.
