hows everyone else? Oh, I'm off to bed, get to drive through the ice and wintry snow tomorrow at 6 am, JOYS of minnesota driving. I need to invest in a snowmobile.


I suppose I should post something fish related-I love my koralia's... the mollies can swim in the current without being killed and blown around, its awesome.
 
Well, I'm glad that you figured out that I wasn't going to need some with the purchase I made from Andre'. Sorry, in all the excitement I forgot to let you know.
 
Hey James can you get the Tony Stewart edition sled?? Or better yet can you get a hood for a sled, I am a big Stewart fan and that would be a nice piece to have!!!

I certainly can look. Walking out of the Engineering area with that hood is not possible. You want just the hood only?? It may cost a bit, I'll have to see and let you know.
 
Oh come on just hind it under your coat!!!LOL Ya I can not aford the whole thing! So the hood would look great hanging on the wall next to my race used tire!!!

You did not see all the cars in the room when you were on my computer??

He says what is on his mind unlike some of the others like for one I can't stand Dale Jr. Gordon or Johnson. They are afraid to say anything that might not in the "norm".

Anyway my blood presure just went up so need to stop talking about this subject..lol

You were in the computer room James it was the room the frag tank was in when you came over the very first time.

As far a a new thread I think not. it would be like beating a dead horse!! Or in NASCAR term like having a flat tire not really going toget anywere..lol

Ok about the useless post thread.

Nascar is boring. When I lived near Daytona, we would avoid town when the races would happen. But I did meet the president of Nascar at a deli in Daytona. Don't ask me his name?!?

Another useless fact, unless you were my stomach. I ate at Granite City (twice) while on my business trip. Not useless, but very good food and BEER if you are ever in Fargo or St Cloud.

One more useless fact. I drove from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to St. Cloud, MN in 5 hours and that included rush hour in the cities. Beat that Jeff Gordon!!

Hmmm, I don't have a heck of a lot to add to it though. Something fish=tankesque. I want to go to florida, I'm almost planning a trip there even, to go scour the beaches for things I want to bring home..

No LPS though, right?
 
MN Crazy: I have always been a fan of slow current through the sump, regardless. They talk about turnover rates in your tank and sump, but I think your pump should only match your overflows. Too big of pump = wet floor. On my 180g, my return pump was only an Iwaki 40RLXT. I tee'd off from the return to feed my calcium reactor also. The pump was rated at 1200gph. EDIT: Did I answer your question??

Now, some people believe that turnover means flow. So my other flow comes from powerheads or closed loops.

Swan: Florida has restrictions on collecting a lot of things. I can get you a link as to what is okay and what is not if you want to go. Also, the further south you go, the better the the goodies. If I tell you where to find Mangroves, will you bring me some back, unless of course you are flying, then you might as well give it all up!! Or you can ship it from there and one of us can receive it.

I'll track down the collecting regimen. The Keys would be your best bet.
 
james my inlaws are in belize but they stay in the keys and will be there again and probably could bring some home if you are really in need. I just dont know if they would make the drive home.

I hate this i dont know what brand of external pump to get. I am not going with the mag pump anymore because there is no way to bolt it down externally. I am kinda thinking dart or little giant pumps. ahhhh. Than i am going to use spa line the sched. 40 to set it all back up. It looks easy.

Another thing is do you guys know if the filter guyz have a retail store in duluth.
