Ushio 14,000 175 watt

Can these be ran on m57 magnetic ballast? I was thinking of purchasing these or another set of iwasaki 15 K's

The spec ballast for the Ushio's is now a pulse start or electronic ballast, so technically the M57 would not work. Having said that, you have about a 70/30 shot of it work vs not working. HTH

Thanks Jeremy, looks like ill be ordering a couple of those iwasaki's again from you. I can't figure out why Ushio would do something like this. There is no benefit from going to probe start to pulse start according to the lighting expert sanjay.

Any plans on getting some Helios single ended 12,500K 175 watt bulbs in down the road?
