Using a Blueline 50Px for CL-650 Chiller

I was using a quiet one pump for closed loop with chiller but it decided to stop working. I just wanted to make sure that this pump would be suitable for flow through the chiller. I never recieved the manual, but I thought I remebered something about not using pressure pumps through the chiller.

HI,

The 50px is a circulation pump only, but you can put some pressure on it. I think spliting to a return line and chiller line is fine, or going through chiller and then back up to the tank is fine. Just don't go over the max flow rate of the chiller.

I bet you'll find less need for your chiller after you change from quiet one to PanWorld. Those quiet ones really heat the water. My 58 gallon had a quiet one running at 82, after i switched to PanWorld 30 it dropped down to 74.
